Ezo spent the afternoon cooking a Sudanese delicacy of Lamb Dama. He prepared all the ingredients, cooked the meal step by step and dished it up. Staff asked him if he would like to show us the recipe and help teach staff to make it as it can be included on the menu's so other service users can enjoy and embrace Ezo's culture.
Once it was all dished up and prepared, he offered all the other service users to try some which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Ezo enjoyed the meal whilst enjoying the sun in the garden. Whilst eating it Ezo said ذو نكهة حلوة, when we translated this, it meant tasty which we all learnt to say and agreed the dish was very tasty, this has expanded on what staff have already learnt such as hello, how are you and good morning/night.
